Why not an iPhone or a stock Android?
Why not an iPhone?
iOS leaks less than stock Android, but Apple remains a centralized vendor collecting telemetry, advertising IDs (IDFA) and iCloud data. On GrapheneOS, you depend on no single vendor.
Why not a stock Android?
Stock Android sends data to Google continuously, even without a Google account. Manufacturer skins (Samsung, Xiaomi) add their own telemetry. GrapheneOS removes that entire layer.
Why not a dumbphone?
A dumbphone removes the smartphone — not the need. If you rely on maps, banking, train tickets or encrypted work messaging, a well-configured GrapheneOS phone is more sustainable than going back to a Nokia.

Will my banking app work?
Almost always, yes. We enable the required Google compatibility services in an isolated profile, then test your bank before shipping. If it refuses (very rare), we offer a full refund.
What about Google Pay / Apple Pay?
Google Pay works on GrapheneOS with a bit of configuration. Apple Pay does not (it's not an iPhone). Most European banks also offer their own contactless payment built into their app.
Will I keep receiving updates?
Yes, directly from the GrapheneOS team — often faster than stock Android. Pixel phones receive security patches for 7 years after release.
Can I install WhatsApp / Instagram / TikTok?
Yes, in an isolated profile. These apps work but cannot read your contacts, messages or microphone without explicit per-use consent. You stay in control.
What warranty?
12 months on the refurbished hardware (excluding accidental damage). GrapheneOS support included for 30 days. Beyond that, sessions on request.
Shipping outside France?
On request, anywhere in the European Union. We bill shipping at cost.
Can I transfer data from my old phone?
Yes — contacts, photos, calendars, Signal messages are migrated during preparation. WhatsApp can be migrated too in some cases; we confirm at quote time.
